Daniel is sick of his rusty knives--advises to avoid Cuisinart like the plague

This is my Cuisinart Sucks story::  I got a Christmas present of a new knife set, of Cuisinart knifes. They were supposed to be stainless steal knifes, and I'm sure they were very expensive, but less than 3 weeks of owning them, after just one wash in the washing machine, they start to rust, prompting me to be forced to clean them with steal wool.

I've had the knifes for less than 6 months and have to thrown half of them away, because the blades are literally rusting away and don't cut anymore.

Avoid this company like the plague.

I had the same experience, Santa got me a Cuisinart Knife set for X-Mas and they have rusted after one week of owning them. How do I get ahold of the North Pole to tell him politely that the rust SUCK'S!!!

When you purchased your knives, did you read that they were not to be placed in a dishwasher or exposed to moisture for a long period of time

It is truly amazing that folks get on this site to express their dissatisaction, but don't say what they did to the product to make it the way it is. Have they tried contacting the company to resolve their issues. I have never had any problems with CUISINART and getting issues resolved. I read before I purchase to see what the warranty states and the care and use instructions.

Some before you blame the company, look in the mirror.

I've owned them less than 1 month, washed by hand with dishwashing soap. Nothing wrong with what I see in the mirror, but rusting knives obviously defective.
