If your device leaks, be prepared for Cuisinart to tell you just to clean it
This is my Cuisinart Sucks story:: DCC-1150 Series purchased 8 months ago and only used filtered water - it started leaking water all over the counter and of course all over the floor and when I emailed them. I have cleaned it a couple of times I got the "soak the carafe top in water and vinegar" response from them. After that, they said I could call customer support for further assistance. I don't really want to deal with it any longer. They obviously realize They are engineered crapily and know they can get away with telling you to clean it.
