Judi is not singing praises for Cuisinart BFP-703R Blender & Food Processor, Duet Combination

This is my Cuisinart Sucks story:: I bought the Cuisinart BFP-703R Blender & Food Processor, Duet Combination over a year ago. I'm not a big cook and I think in a year I've only used it 3-4 times, for blending liquids and once for chopping onions.

This weekend I was making an adventurous recipe that required various chopped vegetables. I took out the machine, plugged it in, turned it on, loaded some green peppers into the basket, and pressed 'chop'.

The motor went on, but there was no action in the basket. I tried all the settings on the machine. No turning of the rotor blades.

I then went online and did a Google search for this model and found LOTS of very negative reviews. It seems this machine is known to break down often. So why does Cuisinart keep selling it?

I looked on Amazon.com for other Cuisinart product reviews and saw that something is very wrong. Cuisinart used to be a high-end company offering great and reliable products. But something has apparently changed and now many of their products are worthless.

I'm a big user of social media for my job, so I will be Tweeting my displeasure on Twitter, and they have a Facebook 'fan' page with an option to start a discussion, so I'll be going over there right now.
