KCup coffee maker warranty void if you use it at your office

This is my Cuisinart Sucks story:: At Christmas time, I purchased the SS-700 Kcup coffee maker. I was downsizing my office and just renting a small room with no kitchen so I thought the Kcup would be the way to go - I am the only one at my office.

Well, it is now September 2012 and to date I've been able to make no more than 6 cups of coffee with the maker, although I have ruined numerous costly kcups in the process! I purchased the Cuisinart brand because I have always used and liked their products and heard the the Keurig makers had a number of pump problems. Well low and behold, so does mine! Must be the same pump, just a different exterior.

Anyway, I wrote to Cuisinart a month ago about this problem and they never answered me, so today I called them. I was asked if the coffee maker was being used at my home or office, and being the honest person I am, told them my office. I was promptly told that the warranty does not cover office usage. I told him, I AM the office, the only person here, the only one trying to use this machine, but he blew me off. So I get a defective coffee maker but no warranty. That is NOT FAIR. It would not have worked had i used it at my house any better than it does in my office. I will NEVER NEVER buy anything made by Cuisinart ever again. What they need is a good class action lawsuit to put them in their place!

This is the model number of my defective Cuisinart device:: SS-700
