Nancy's advice: Buy a Mr. Coffee instead

My $100 1200 Brew Central coffeemaker refused to turn on today. It had a 3 year warranty. I bought it in May, 2006 (within the warranty period). Cuisinart wants me to send my coffeemaker to them and wait while they examine it before they honor the warranty. WOW.

I need my coffee...how can I go weeks without a coffeemaker????

These "3 year" warranties are a JOKE!

My advice buy a "Mr coffee" machine. When it dies, you'll only feel bad about clogging a landfill and our earth. You won't feel bad about the money you wasted thinking you were buying a quality item backed by a company with integrity. (Turns out this isn't true at all!...Company has no integrity. Item has no quality. GO FIGURE!)
