Received our fourth coffee pot
Finally our issue has moved high enough up in the Cuisinart "Customer Care" department to receive attention by someone who is at least partially competent. This time we actually recieved the 2400 model instead of the previous 2200 models that had been sent over previous weeks.
This coffee pot seems to be working better (leaking less) than the first pot. The verdict is still out because we have had some leaks but not nearly as many as the constantly leaking first pot.
Note to all: The way we finally got the attention we needed was by emailing every email address imaginable. Don't even bother trying to reach anyone via phone. The people who man the phones at Cuisinart are completely clueless and if you ask for a supervisor you should expect to wait on hold an additional 30 minutes at minimum to speak to one. And apparently they only have one.
