We try beter positioning the carafe to prevent the leaking

Our Cuisinart DCC-2400 is leaking. We have been trying everything. We reposition the carafe so it is perfectly aligned. We make sure we have not added too much coffee. We make sure the filter holder is pushed in all the way. We tried it with the gold filter and without (with just a paper filter.) Nothing works. This coffee pot is defective. And I am turning all of my white towels to "coffee colored" towels as I place a new towel under the pot each time I brew a pot.
